Why CIB?

Principal Chuck Werle established CIB in the Western Carolina market in 2003 with two partners. Pat Beebe has now retired but Marie Bartlett is “second in command” whenever she is not writing books or conducting writing seminars or teaching communications classes.

Carolina Image Builders has had significant public relations programs in the Asheville area since 2003.

Chuck was appointed to the National College of Fellows by the Public Relations Society of America in 1992 and was chosen as the Outstanding Public Relations Executive by both Chicago chapters of PRSA in 2001.  He also was selected to speak as one of 12 counselors for the 2007 North Carolina Public Relations Seminar held at University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. He lectured on crisis communication at Michigan State University to senior Journalism students in January of 2009, receiving nearly unanimous and anonymous accolades.

Drawing on 38 years of experience with corporations, international advertising agencies, privately-held companies, national associations and small business owners, Werle has earned a national reputation in media relations, crisis communications and marketing strategy. CIB is the only nationally accredited firm associated with the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce.
